New Drums, Love & Links
Let’s start with some new drums. You have kept me quite busy since early November, and I thank you most sincerely. I can’t post all of them, so here are the latest three from the past few weeks, along with the healers’ emails reacting to their new sacred drums.

The kind words from these healers fill my heart. I am so very thankful but sad, too, because after I reply I know our interactions have come to an end. What you don’t see here are the many messages a customer and I generally exchange in deciding the type and appearance of the drum he or she desires. It is inevitable that we strike up a friendship and that, to me, is the greatest thrill of all. I love to make drums, but I love making friends even more.
It is good to remember that beautiful drums require a lot more than the wood and hide that gives them form. The most important ingredient is the love that goes into them from both a customer and the drum maker. That’s what makes a drum a true loving healer in its own right.
Good Links About Health Benefits of Drumming
Here are a couple of recent links I found recently that may help you when considering an interest in drumming. Drums and drumming are good for you! (There are a lot more related links on the Thunder Valley Drums site.)
The first is from the Green Med Info site, “Six Ways Drumming Heals Body, Mind and Soul.”
The second, with some overlap but with additional info comes from Natural Holistic Health, “The Therapeutic Health Benefits of Drumming.”
Thank you so much, my friend, for dropping by today.
Aho & Namaste,
Bob
