Join the Circle Within a Circle at the Healing Festival, Coming Jan. 17, 18
I am so eager and looking forward to sharing time with you at the annual Healing Festival here in Elizabethtown, January 17-18, 2015 (see details, left). It will be a great light in the heart of dark winter.
And there will be a circle within a circle!
You’ll find many, many healers and vendors on hand, many of whom will offer free mini-seminars on the hour throughout both days. Some of these include aromatherapists, energy healers, clairvoyants, alternative and complementary healing practitioners, and a host of others, all dedicated in service of one sort or another to your well being and spiritual interests. It looks to be a great gathering at just the right time of year to lift your spirits amid the coldest days of winter and while the moon sleeps. You will be amongst like-minded people and in a circle of friends.
For my part, I intend to offer a short talk about the power of healing available from drumming, and to then lead a drumming circle so you can feel that powerful medicine–and help to generate it– for yourself and others. A circle within a circle!
I’ll have a few extra drums on hand so you can play one during the circle, or please feel free to bring your own drum if you have one. All are welcome!
I’ll post the time for the talk and drumming circle here on the blog as soon as the event organizer lets me know. There will also be impromptu drumming throughout the Festival, too, and you can join in anytime you wish.
You’ll also have access to a bevy of new shamanic drums for sale at my booth, including a new LIGHTNING-STRUCK drum that will be born on New Year’s Day. A beautiful New Year’s baby! Plus, I’ll have an armload of fresh herbs and sweetgrass available so you can stock up on smudging supplies, as well as some recently made medicine bags and other items. Also, and for the first time at the Festival, I will be offering short shamanic healing energy sessions on a first come, first served basis in the afternoons for a slight cost.
