Delighted to introduce the newest Lightning Drum, Wind Horse. Born the moment that a Lightning Being merged with a sacred maple tree on a high hill in Shepherdsville, KY, the Wind Horse began singing the song of the great life force symbolized in its name centuries ago in a shamanic culture on the other side of the world.
The next Healing Festival is coming next weekend, July 16-17, at the Pritchard Center here in Elizabethtown. I hope to see you there!
Vendors, speakers, healers, psychically gifted seers, and yes, even a drum circle (not sure of the times, but you can check the sponsor’s site for that). I’ll have several drums on hand so you can try out your favorite during the circle. New this year will be some very nice drum bag/backpacks, small to medium hand-sewn purse/carry-alls for toting your smudge and other stuff, some tea light candle holders, a LOT of medicine bags, plenty of new drums, and a unique SQUARE drum made in Peru (and only $44) through a Fair Trade arrangement.
We’re packing up everything this week in anticipation of having a great time meeting new and old friends. Hope you are one of them!
I sure hope to meet you at the upcoming Festival of Healing & Spiritual Awareness on January 16 – 17 here in Elizabethtown, KY. It’s the perfect venue in a very nice little community center, and just right for sharing time with like-minded people on the spiritual path.
Of course, many healers will be on hand, and lots of them will be offering free talks throughout the two-day event. It’s a wonderful chance to meet them and spend some time chatting in a quiet atmosphere. Several vendors, clairvoyants and others will provide their services, too, so don’t miss out!
I’ll have many new drums (including the new Thunder Horse Lightning Drum!) at the Thunder Valley Drums booth, and a variety of other shamanic medicine drums, some drum bags (at last!), a LOT of new smudging herbs and burners, and a first-time offering of some gorgeous new wall hangings and colorful tapestries. I’ll be offering shamanic readings too, of course.
Admission is only $7 (and you get a $2 discount if you donate a canned food item), or $10 for both days. More information at the sponsor’s site: FestivalOfHealing.com.
There is still a seat in the sacred circle for you in the new Shaman Training course that will begin Oct. 18, 2015. (You may find full info here.) The Autumn is a perfect season in which to begin your exploration of a greater reality that will lead you to the discovery of your authentic self and the mission of your beautiful soul for this lifetime.
Join with others of like minds, learn the healing ways and the path of shamans, and apply your new understanding to improve and empower your everyday life. You will become familiar with how to drum and thus to enter the greater realms through a shamanic journey. And then, you will meet totem animals and powerful guides in assembling a team of allies to assist your work and life in the full expression of your heart. It will be your greatest voyage of discovery.
Your age doesn’t matter. What does matter is that you have begun to hear the calling, to feel the rise of curiosity, to sense the hint of destiny as a healer and spiritual explorer.
Quick Overview of the Course:
It is an in-depth experiential five-month course (meets once a month) taught in Elizabethtown, KY. If you can’t attend this one, perhaps one in the future, as classes form spontaneously when at least four people have indicated interest. I like to have small classes, with a maximum of six so that I can provide individual attention to each during class. My wife assists, along with an apprentice (when available).
We would love to have you join the sacred circle.
